how to install bush bar..

Hey guys i picked up a bush bar off craigslist today and am wondering as to the bolts i should purchase for the install.. will i use bolts that screw directly into the frame or will i need a nut (frame holes are not threaded..?) Sorry this is premature since i havent had a good look and will be tackling it tomorrow so maybe ill take a look and its dead simple, but i just was hoping for some advice on how to go about it before i get stuck or buy the wrong hardware etc, thanks!

Looks like this and came with two oddly L shaped mounting brackets

It's a very basic install. you will use 4 frame bolts and 2 bolts on the little brackets. I just took mine off. Good luck.

You know, I read about people who say having one just ends up breaking more than without or vs having an aftermarket Front Bumper. As for me, I still like the way they sit/look. especially on the limited with the thicker body cladding.

As for the brush guard, it will only fit the 99-02 4runner. Who knows what your creeping in.

Yeah im curious about this.....the seller has it listed a 97 but it has the fat lip bumper...

my thoughts exactly.. but at $150 it was a steal (in my neck of the woods) so i figured i'd jump on it, I will let you guys know how she goes

it fit!.. a little pushing and wedging and hammering but it slid right in and bolted to the brackets i mounted, thanks!

^^^ why so you can bash it and flame it, we all know 90% of you guys dont like brush guard anyways... you go on calling them damage multipliers ect. even though id say probably half or more of you have never had one, or had one cause "more damage"

Okay.. here are the pics as requested

I need some help.. i am going to wire the two hella lights on the guard and then i have two more coming for my roof basket.. i can't seem to find the wattage or amps anywhere on these lights that came with the bush guard.. anyone have any ideas as i need to put an in-line fuse in to complete the wiring and obviously don't want to go too big or small, thanks!
