How to jack up lifted 4Runner...

So this is probably a stupid question because I've never owned a lifted truck before. If you're truck is lifted 3-4 inches, can you use the stock jack to lift your truck when changing the tires? Or do you have to purchase an aftermarket one? I remember seeing a guy that had his truck on a device to show how strong his sliders where? I don't know if that is what you use or what.

Sorry I've only ever lowered my cars, never lifted a truck.

good question, I think you will be ok with 2" of lift, not sure about more. I probably need to check.

But then again I take my new hi-lift with when I go offroad, and I have sliders :D

I'll test this weekend and see, but if you are concerned just take a 3" or so wood block with in the 4R.

Put it under the A-arm or rear axel. Mine would never have gone high enough under the body to get the tire off the ground when it was stock.
