how to put on front license plate??

I bought a (black) license plate holder from Autozone that had 4 holes. So i screwed that into the 4R holes then screwed my license plate into the holder. Since i have a special license plate, i put a see-thru plastic license plate cover over my license plate so debris will not ruin the license plate. Hope this makes sense to you. 
This thread has the TSB that explains how to attach a front license plate. The dealer is correct - you just use self-tapping metric screws.
It was great-since it was at my Mom's he opeded at home and after said i guess I am not getting a car-His sister said why don't you go and check the driveway-I said that is so mean He is not getting a car- we got to my mom's and while everyone is openeing it I pull it out of garage to front of house where we plan to go- they all got coats from Mom so she said go outside and get a picture while it is snowing(1st ever white Christmas ) for us in Alabama -so the 6 kids go outside and he is trying to put his coat on without taking off the tag(in case it doesn't fit) and he doesn't see it so I say go stand in front of the car and he stops and looks at me and looks at the 4 runner and points to it and then him-it was priceless!! He's been driving it- got the blades/filter replaced and then went and got tag yesterday !!2 other of his friends got cars also!!
