How to put pic on profile

I have just recently become a member of this wounderful site....... Finally there are others who have 4runners and use them like they should..... but any way i was just woundering if anyone knew how to put a little pic on your profile so i can show off my beauty...

If you want it as an avator you need to shrink the image to 120x120 or something like that.....

then upload it by going to the user cp tab and then the edit options tab.

scroll down to change avator and you can upload a custom image from your computer from there

New member so I can't start my own thread about this question. Is there a way to just turn profile pics off completely? I'm a pretty trad Catholic guy and while I don't want to go around blasting people for scantily clad women in their profile pic (just not prudent and I know wouldn't change most minds) I would love to know if there is a way I can just turn that off and not have to worry.
