how to remove instrument panel??

So im looking at my Haynes manual on how to remove my combination meter aka instrument panel and its telling me that I need to remove the steering wheel and the steering wheel column, I really dont feel like doing all of that so I was wondering if there was a easier way I used the search bar but couldnt find one for 3rd gens. I Have a 01 limited. HELPP!

The steering column COVER needs to come off, as well as the lower dash panel, and then you will see how the cluster comes out. The screws for the column cover are accessed by turning the steering wheel certain ways, popping the plastic catch to seperate the halves can be tricky, don't wreck it.
