How to remove mud spots???

when it stormed in my area about two weeks ago, i did a few donuts in a mud lot near my house. after letting the mud sit for two days, i got around to washing the car and found that where the mud used to be are now outlines that look like water spots. i've washed my car a few times after that, and i still can't get them out. I also tried using a clay bar on the spots, but they're still there.

does anyone know how to remove these spots?

I was going to suggest a clay bar, but you said you've already tried it. Sounds almost like the mud etched into the surface.

Try a polish and see if it buffs out. If not, you might need to take it to a detailer.

I had water like spots, caused by moisture trapped under the plastic that was used during shipping as the dealer detailer explained. He told me to wait until the weather warmed up and I left the truck in the sun and hot temperature and it all eventually faded away.
