How to replace High-Mount Third Brake Light on 2003

I've searched and found a little info, but I need some more help. I tried to pop the lens off the high-mount light to replace the bulb, but it seems glued in place with some kind of gasket.

Has anyone done this? How do I break the seal and get the lens off without damaging the paint or the lens?

2003 4W V8 Limited

Thanks,

Do you have the rear spoiler or not?

For 2006, if you do not have the spoiler, the light assembly comes out from the outside of the truck. But with the spoiler, it's bolted in the spoiler from behind, and you need to remove the spoiler to get it out!

No spoiler. Sorry, forgot to add that. I know it comes out from the front, but where are the clips and do I need to cut the "gasket" or seal first? It seems like the lens will break if I proceed in trying to snap the clips.

From the 2006 manual:
