How to replace rear door cladding piece

So yesterday a back seat passenger opened my door as a bicycle was passing on the right. The bicycle caught the door and ripped the cladding completely off. Fortunately he was not injured and it could have been worse. I'm working to get quotes on all the needed parts now. I just want to make sure I understand the labor involved as I plan to do it myself. I know I'll need to replace all orange and blue clips but I don't quite understand the metal rivets. Has anyone replaced this cladding before who can give me some tips on how to install the new parts? Thank you!

Yes, you'll need to drill out the 3 rivets first from the inside of the door with the door open. No need to remove the door panel. To reinstall, you'll need a rivet gun (manual/mechanical works fine).

The blue and orange clips can be removed from the body with pliers, by turning them 90 degrees and then pulling.

Do yourself a favor and put painter's tape dots on the outside of the cladding before you install it, to indicate where the blue and orange clips are, so that you know where to press to reattach it. Blue/orange clips attach to the cladding. Then present the cladding to the door and push the lower clips into the body (you'll feel/hear a small "click"), then remove the backing off the adhesive from the top seals and push the upper clips into the body. Finally, install the 3 rivets.
