How to replace TRD off road rear bumper trim

Has anyone here replaced the silver piece on the TRD Off Road rear bumper?

Mine got partially pulled off by an errant tree stump and it snapped some of the clips off with it.

If anyone has ever replaced this piece themselves I'd appreciate some guidance!

I did the front. You can replace it without taking off the bumper but it will be very frustrating and probably take longer than taking the bumper off. I am guessing the back would be the same, take the bumper off and then replace the clips. Front bumper took only 15 minutes to take off.

You have to take the entire rear bumper out. I did it about two weeks ago. The link below although low quality shows what bolts/clips to take out

Yeah, it'll be a lot easier to just remove the bumper first. This was my first mod to convert to the black TRD PRO ones.

I broke the clips on mine as well. I was able to use some automotive plastic epoxy to reattach the broken tabs. If the cover needs replaced, removing the bumper is the way to go.
