How to spend OT paycheck?

Because of Irene I had the chance to work a little extra so i have around 600 to work with but i don't know where to start. I wanted to buy vinyl flooring for my truck because I hate carpet but that's like 420 from jc whitney and I want to get the most for my money. Any Ideas?

Do you like to do your own work? $600 could get you pretty much all maintenance, new LBJ's, etc. If you can spend money on it just once, the best things is to make it work like a peach.
 
I would do the HID's but i just got silverstar ultras not to long ago, about how much are the LED's?
 
Ya I love workin on her but Im not the most mechanically inclined :( but if it's pretty simple im sure i could tackle it. I just not new LBJ's on the front. apparently the previous owner missed the recall..
 
+1 with NelsonMD on covering all possible items coming up for maintenance such as plugs and wires, shocks and springs, tires and wheels, etc.
 
Ya Ill cover the maintenance, I love these trucks and dont plan on selling mine for a longgg time, theres a lot i want to get done to it.. It sucks seeing these trucks on here and not ever having money to follow some of the mods haha

wouldnt be easier to just take out the carpet and rhino line it???

Why do you hate the carpet so much? It is cheap to replace ($130) and relatively durable. Just get some husky liners or weathertech mats.

It's hard to get a bumper for 600 bucks, unless you get lucky. 600 would cover a spacer lift but it depends on what OP is looking to do with his car. Tires could be done but it would have to be a tire from pep boys, for example, that would not last as long as day a 900 dollar set. I'm not hating on your ideas just trying to be realistic with what you can do with 600 bucks. Maintenance sounds like a great idea to me. Ultimately it depends on what he's looking to do with his car.
 
idk i havnt looked into it, I thought the vinyl would be easier when i got the truck it had a lot of stains on the carpet and it would be kind of a piece of mind knowing the vinyl wouldn't get stained but the liner and the mats both sound good to me. I just got KM2's last month and I think the bumpers would be last for me but Id love a lift. I just dont know if I should save up for one thing nice or spend smart and get like 3 or 4 things, but thanks for the ideas everyone sorry if I seem like a newb i just joined here and got my runner not to long ago, but i think the maintenance would probably be best since it is my DD

Lifting with LC coils is under $600 and provides a nice lift.

Tires are a bit of a stretch, but could be done.

Addicted Offroad, CBI Offroad, Outdoor Logic (if they ever do another group buy), etc. all have bumpers for at or under $600.
 
there are several carpet replacement threads out there. it is relatively easy and cheap.

Floormats for the front cost about $100.

Don't bedline your interior, it will look like sh$t and collect dust badly.

I can source out a new $600 coil lift from OME with new shocks front and rear...
