how to stop key dinging noise

Hi, guys. I thought I remembered a thread regarding how to make it so the 4runner won't ding incessantly when the key is in the ignition but the motor is off, like if working on it or cleaning it out. I used the search button but couldn't find it.... I have a 2000 SR5. Thanks.
