A K&N drop in filter? Take out the OEM filter and put the K&N in the same spot. There are 3 or 4(cant remember and wont walk outside to check) metal "hinges" that connect the top box with the lower box, unclip them, lift the top part of the intake box up and there is the filter. :cheers:

But where in the engine is it? If anyone has a picture that would be great.

Its the big black box on the left side of the engine compartment. If your T4R has the manual, it will show you.
V6 or V8? Either way, you'll see a huge black hose (maybe 3-4" in diameter) leading up to a big black box with clips holding it shut. Undo those clips and move the section of the black box attached to the hose away from the other half of the box. Then you can remove the stock filter and put in the K&N.
Matter of fact, here you go (for both v8 and v6, and the two small arrows in the v6 pic shows the only two clips you must undo, not sure about the v8 but it seems like there are two there on the front and maybe one or two on the back of the box):
