How to tie down stacked Plano storage bins

I have 2 Plano bins stacked but trying to think best way to strap the 2 together
Do they make some sort of rubber tie to make use of the “ears” that are on the ends ?

I either use ratchet straps or bungee cords. No reason to get too fancy IMO

That being said you can always shorten a bungee with another knot to make them fit perfectly between the two totes.

Yes, ratchet straps for the roof if you're stacking, bungees for the cargo area.

Probably not a good idea to stack them on the roof though, they'd sit pretty high unless they had something next to them.

Mike are slightly smaller, I agree I wouldn’t stack on the roof that’d be like a 4ft air dam and your mpg/drive ability will suffer. I toss mine on the rack and ratchet down.

With the interlocking square feet, you should be good with them strapped with whatever you choose over the top of both. I don't think they need to be strapped together to be any more secure.
I have those boxes and I've noticed the hooks but never used them... yet. Now you have me thinking, though.

As long as we are talking just strapping them together and not talking strapping stacked cases down to your roofrack, you could use a Perfect Bungee adjust-a-strap.

Get New Bin

Get new storage bin.
I have a Plano Storage bin.
It sucks.
The latches are very insecure.

I am going to get a rubbermaid storage bin with handles that I can thread a tie down through.
Will stack better too.

I'd just use a correct sized bungee or adjustable bungee. You could always get some 3/8 shock cord and make a perfect sized bungee with loops on both ends to go over the tie die down points.
