How to Tune-Up.

Hey guys,

Can anyone provide a how-to for tuning up a 95 Toyota 4Runner V6? The engine in my truck has approx 200k miles (but rebuilt a year ago) and its really doing poorly on gas mileage. So I'm thinking of replacing the plugs, distributor and cables / coil packs (whichever ones it has), and fuel filter.

If anyone can provide the how-to, I would really appreciate this. Any other suggestions or anything else to add, please do so.

Also R&R distrib cap and rotor, air filter, plug wires.

Now's a good time to put winter air in the tires and top off the blinker fluid also.

lol! Adjust and or replace your muffler bearings and check the canooder valves they wear out at around 200k. :FOS:

On a more serious side. Oil change with recommended oil not 20-50 the heavier the weight the more horsepower you lose. Spark plugs/ wires. Fuel filter! Air filter! Low tire preasure is a huge gas guzzler. < This one happens to me often. 20psi or less. You let off the gas and lose 10mph in 10feet
