how to unlock doors?

hey, i was wondering if anyone knew how i would go about getting a remote for keyless entry for my 94 4runner? i've seen a thousand of them on ebay for next to nothing, i just dont know how you go about programming them to your vehicle? any insight is much appreciated

You'll need an aftermarket alarm system, viper, xcalibur, etc.
