How well do spray bed liners hold up?

Considering spray bed lining my front and rear bumpers, fender flares and the side of my 4runner. Wondering if anyone has done this years ago and how it has held up. Not looking for something I have to re-do every 6 months or something, but a couple years would work.

I sprayed my chrome bumpers, with almost no prep work, just cleaned them. They get a few chips every once in a while, but it is so easy to just spray a small spot. If you have the factory painted bumpers it would seem to me that the paint would adhere much better

I just did my today but before doing it I tested it a couple weeks ago on a random piece of powder coated steel I had. After a couple days I started testing it by using different things to try and scratch, dent it etc. I was able to hit it with sharp screw drivers, a hammer, and other random stuff and never did I get down to the powder coat. This was with 2-3 coats of dupli-color bed liner.

I'm hoping it holds up to the weather though.

Yeah I have the green limited bumpers so I think that would make it better.

Yeah, I will definitely be doing a few coats when I do it, and as for the weather the only thing I have is fading from the sun. That would look pretty dumb if it went from black to light grey over a summer...

I use that to touch up my scrapes on my sliders and it works great everytime and sticks well.

Are you stuck on "SPRY-IN"? Or would you consider roll-on like Herculiner? Much cheaper and you can do it yourself. For painted surfaces all you have to do is sand it down to get rid of the reflection then wipe down with paint thinner, carb or brake cleaner and it's ready for application. I did my fender flares and side skirts (3 coats) about a month ago and no sign of wear at all.

I like how the spray on's arent as coarse as the roll on hurculiner. More of a smooth surface...

Mine only cost me about $15. The hurculiner kit is like $80 right?

There are different roughness'es available.
When I gets dull looking you can shine it up with Rhino Shine. Rhino Linings Unlimited-The World's #1 Sprayed-On Bed Liner

Holds up pretty good, I used Duplicolor Spray on my rear mud flaps and on my Grill, Has held up well on both and no chipping or fading so far

I have no idea how it would hold up to the weather. I herculined the entire interior floor of my runner and do not use a floor mat on the driver side. The liner is holding up really well so far.
