I had the Window visors... took them off within a year. I thought they looked o.k. but when I took them off I said, "WOW, that looks better." Go with In channel and not 3m tape if you do it. IMO it lookes tacky either way but slightly better in channel.
My vote would be speakers.
Maybe a set of aux backup lights. Has been priceless for me.

I had the window visors once and got rid of them because it cut down on my vision so bad...felt like I had a huge blind spot. Would cost a lot more than 100$ for good door speakers...so if those are my only 3 choices I would go with the front liners.
I agree about the extra lights in the back...a much needed upgrade for the 4R.

While maybe not the best looking, I reallly like the functionality of the vent visors. I agree it'd take much more than $100 if I wanted to start messing with the speakers. The floor liners are great, really help out (but this all depends on you though). I've just got my 4runner so IDK about this, but the backup lights do seem like a good idea.

I had vent visors (aftermarket) on my last SUV and after awhile they started to peel away on the corners and one of them cracked. Although I liked how they looked when I first installed them, I hated how they looked once they started to pull away.
Does Toyota offer fitted vent visors for the windows? I thought I had seen these somewhere but I can't remember for sure. This is the only way I would ever consider adding them to my 4runner.

the weathertech floorliners give a little more protection up the sides of the carpet & over the side floor sill molding, ya know the one that gets scratched from your foot. some say theyre slippery when wet, but you can always just put a cheap rubber mat( or cut a piece to size), inside like i did. good speakers would be more $, ive got the stick on vent visors since 06 with no problems. some people say the in channel stretch the channel a bit so if ya later on decide to take em out, there might be a slight whistling sound. ( thats just what ive read/heard) always bought the stick ons, either way its nice to crank open the window abit & not have rain drip in. there have also been some that have the factory mats & say ( and have shown pics) that the rubber fins sometime rip from the mats after awhile , again, i cant tell you that from experience, just reading about it, but the weathertechs will most likely last the life of the vec. if the stick on visors ever start to pull away, mine hasnt yet,just replace the tape with a new piece... so ,yea, id go with the front floorliners first, (check out the pics of them on theyre site) ,window visors 2nd. speakers 3rd.

yea those weathertechs look pretty damn good actually, but when i bought my truck it didnt have any mats at all in it, so i told the salesman to put in the rubber ones instead in the front and back. If these were to ever fall apart I would get those weathertechs then because I do like the coverage those have.

The part where you left foot rests when you drive wears out in no time at all. I have seem people who have put a hole through their mat in only a year from normal driving. It's very cheap rubber, and very thin in that upper area. They are also a ***** to clean with all of those little grooves.
Weathertech mats are the way to go, and don't bother with the vent visors. You will take them off eventually, and they will stretch out the channel and cause your window to rattle.

Weathertech's for $70 is unheard of far as I know, with shipping extra. Most times they are $100 plus shipping. If that's for a new set and they are the "real thing" I'd jump all over it. Post the link to the site if you don't mind. I have a friend looking to buy a set for her 04.

autoanything has the fronts for 117 with free s&h, suspensionconnection.com has them for 99, profloorliners.com has the fronts for 65 free s&h,59 at car-stuff.com, the rear is about half the cost of the fronts, of course the cargo is goona cost ya any place you get. these places seem to have the better prices some of them also sell the vent visors.

What would be better to get, the in-channel ones, or the stick on outside ones? I've heard the in-channel ones can stretch out your window channel and cause rattleing, but they are supposed to look cleaner. While the outside ones sometimes leave residue on your ride. Any suggestions?
