How would YOU spend your next $1,000 Runner bucks?

I definetly appreciate your advice regarding going conservative while going off to college. I should have mentioned that he will be starting off 3/4 time at a local college while living at home. Thanks to all for the compliments, he has worked really hard since the age of 14 to earn his first car. He has paid for 95% of everything listed. I've only helped with small birthday gifts etc. here and there. He wants to finish it off as a great off roading vehicle before earning enough for an inexpensive commuter car and heading off to a 4 year college.

I like the idea of skid plates and ball joints so far! Protect what he's invested and replace something before it fails on the trail!
