How'd you install your wideband?

Our ECU's won't give us lambda, so no unfortunately. I am just gonna go with a innovate lc-2

My buddy built a wbo2 out of the stock wideband from a Volkswagon back in the day. He converted the 1-5v wideband to work with a little digital read out. Wonder if the cali ones can be done that way. In the end it was ghetto, took to much time and money when he could just got the LC-2, or UEGO. LC-2 is awesome, always worked best when data logging, the UEGO would lag and cause bad readings.

Any exhaust shop will weld a bung in for cheap if you're not a welder.

The uego comes with a bung, so don't let them charge you for one

Read the instructions on the Uego in regards to bung placement. Show the shop, or follow what it says if you're doing it.

2nd post is correct though...? It needs to be in front of o2 sensor (engine side) yes?

I'm not an all-knowing being, but I cannot figure out why that would matter. I am about 99% sure that mine isn't in front of my O2 sensor.

The WBO2 location doesnt need to be in either sensor location. It needs to be placed far enough from exhaust manifold so it does not get destroyed from heat, but not so far it does not get a good reading. Angle also madders. This is usually right where the downpipe from headers/manifolds starts to angle back under the vehicle.

All wbo2's ive installed show this in the installation instructions.
