Hey there.
My name is Kyle, from Houston TX. I recently sold a 2005 Tacoma Prerunner DC and have purchased a 2003 4Runner from my brother. It's all stock, has Bridgestone Dueler H/T, 4.7 liter and 64,000.
Plans for it include off-road oriented tires in stock size, remove running boards and mud-flaps, add sliders and call it a day. These are realistic goals i have for the 4Runner and should be done soon.
Looking at other builds always gives me inspiration and i have an idea what i'd like it to become once some debt is paid off first. A 3" lift, larger tires and a RTT for family camping trips would be great.
Coming from Tacomas, i'm somewhat familiar with lifts and know that 5100s are ideal for reasonably priced, basic lifts. What is the equivalent for 2-3" on 4Runners. I don't want to break the bank with this, but keeping my options open.
