Greetings boys and girls. Some of you may know me as from tacomaworld.

I've been thinking about selling my '99 Tacoma and getting a 4runner. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions while I'm shopping around and hope to find some helpful folks here. Looking for a 4th gen runner to take me on as many awesome adventures as I've had with my truck. I'll be sad to see my Taco go but I'm ready to move into something newer, fancier (I still have hand crank windows for pete's sake!), comfier, and safer. Gotta stay in the Toyota family though! If anyone has any advice to share I would appreciate it - common issues, things to watch out for, etc.

Going to look at a '12 and a '11 this weekend. both are in good shape with average miles. both are SR5, V6...I think they'll haul me and my camping gear around just fine.
