HU, amp & subs install, 3rd Gen, pics

Just got through mounting the amp. I'll clean it up a little bit more later, but I just wanted to rough it out first to make sure it would work. I mounted the amp in the jack stand area. When I bought the vehicle, I bought it used and it had nothing in this space anyway. And since the 4Runner is lifted, a regular jack won't do me any good either. Not really worried about heatsoak since this amp came out of my friend's Dodge Ram truck and was in a cubby hole the whole time with no problems. It's a little undersized for the speakers, but it does the job for me. As it is, is rattles the back door when it's cranked hard.

The head unit is nice since I can stow the iPod inside of it. It also has filters built into it so most of the bass does not go to the door speakers and most of the highs do not go to the subs.

All in all, I'm very pleased with it and since most of it was free from my friend, I can't complain too much.
