does anyone know if the radio (DEH-M8057zt) from a Scion XA will fit in an 2005 4runner?

Does anyone know if the DEH-M8057zt is compatible with the factory steering wheel audio controls on the 4runner? thx

YES should be fine, if thats one of the stock scion units then they all work and everything works. They sound much better than stock too.

I don't think my Scion HU has the hidden 2nd antena. I took off the heat sink on the back to look. It's an T1804.

IIRC, I have a T1804 from 2005 Scion. I do remember drilling out the rear heat sink for the second antenna connector.

i hope to be installing mine next week when it arrives. i'll let you guys know if i come across any issues. thx

I did the install today. It really was easy with the printed, step-by-step instructions.

Factory Radio Removal

It took me a while to drill out the hidden 2nd antenna (on the Scion HU). I was slightly off-center.

The sound will be a big improvement over the stock radio....much welcomed surprise for the $60 I spent on the Scion Unit!!!

I installed the T1804 in my '05 4Runner.

It really wasn't too bad....I'm not a "super do-it-yourself" kinda guy either.

I already changed the start-up screen to say "4Runner", and like others have said....The xB setting does sound better.

Got my T1807 installed yesterday and it is everything i expected. This is a very good/inexpensive upgrade from the factory 4Runner HU. Got mine for $30.50 off of ebay!
