Guess it depends on if accounts are deactivated after being dormant for a long time. Still a lot of members. And when one thread has over 1.5 million views and 4400 posts I'm pretty impressed and I've been on a lot of forums over the years. Anything over 10k members is a pretty active forum to me.

This is true. There may be 100k registered usernames, but no way those 100k are active users. This forum has been around for a long time.
