Any members from Humboldt on here? Recently moved to the area! Trying to find some cool places to wheel.

I live around Humboldt, there is the beach at the north jetty in Samoa, some nice trails in the national forest after harvest season (of course), and the lost coast area, and yes you can drive on the beaches (some of them anyway, most have a 5mph speed limit too, its new). My truck isn't crazy lifted or locked so the more "hardcore" stuff, i tend to shy away from.

humboldt

is that pic of the parking lot off of 17th @HSU?

i'm an alumni and love it up there. i can second @ mad river and clam beaches, just don't get stuck at high tide... i saw more than one truck get stuck and flooded there.

Thanks! Yea I've been to samoa. Pretty fun riding on the beach. And thanks for the "after harvest season" tip. For some reason that honestly didn't even cross my mind

That pic is actually in north Arcata at the United Indian Health center. Getting stuck out in the ocean would be horrible. Damn near shat myself a couple weeks ago when I was in the wet part of the sand and started spinning the tires. lol
