Humming?? noise when turning?

Whenever I am turning the wheel and the 4runner is moving, like entering a driveway or something, I hear a humming noise coming from the front. It doesn't matter if I'm turning right or left. It also sounds like the noise direction changes depending on a left or right turn.

I know there is that possibility that maybe it is a wheel bearing, but both making the same noises at the same time? I don't know what else I can pin-point the cause of this noise though. I'm only at 5,500 miles or so now, and I am running wheel spacers that could cause premature wear on the bearing but after 5,500 miles??

It only makes the noises when I am going slow when turning, at least thats the only time I seem to hear it.

Does anyone have any other possible causes that could cause a humming type noise?

If I cannot figure it out, I'll remove the spacers and have to take it into Toyota and have them look at it, just hoping its something else that could be making the noises.

I don't have the noise that I've noticed. But I was considering wheel spacers so definitely interested to hear what it is.

Your tire could be rubbing depending on how hard you have turned the wheel. I know when I am offroad and deflate my tires to 18psi, I rub on the front bumper when I turn the wheel all the way to either side

just had my lift (Icon) put on yesterday with spidertrax. I noticed some rubbing when backing out and turning. That's with 265/70/17. Will wait a week or two for it to settle and check the alignment. Haven't noticed any noise while turning and moving forward... yet.

Just to update this post, It wasn't the noise from the tires rubbing the plastic at full turn. It actually sounded like a dry bearing, metal noise. AS far as tire rotations, I had just rotated them when I installed my lift, which was like 1,000 miles before or so.

As you are all aware, I have new tires and wheels, I removed the wheel spacers, since I don't need them anymore. That noise I was hearing is completely gone, so could have been the tires most likely, could have been tires with spacers putting extra stress somewhere?? prob unlikely though, IDK.
