Beautiful rig. The front seats in mine are getting a bit frayed, need to find out more about those seat covers you got.

The wheels are elegant. Very nice.

Heh, while having three two-door cars is fun and all, hitting friends up all the time to haul stuff gets old for me and them. I still have an MR2 and Supra to keep me busy...

It was a tough call to give up a black on black SC, but I'm happy with my Runner. The truck and MR2 vie for the other garage spot.

That garage pic of the 'Runner next to the Supra... yup, that's my dream garage. In my garage sits the 4Runner and a Mk3 Supra... but I'd trade it in a heartbeat for Mk4.

BTW, I noticed your license plate frame on the MR2.. VT Alumni... and the picture as a whole suddenly reminded me of this poster I used to have in my room when I was in high school... it was a bunch of exotics... a lambo, ferrari, lotus, and a porsche... the caption at the top read: "Justification for Higher Education". No doubt.

That is done by a company named Wet Okoles. And its hard to tell by the great looks, but they are actually only seat covers. I have seen them now twice in two days and love them, there in line on the mods list

Thanks so much for the compliments. The Supra is probably the most out-there in terms of straying from Toyota's original design aesthetic. That was really my first big project and since then, I've kind of eased back and developed a theme like you said: "subtle aggression."

I love my 'Yotas and genuinely feel they're one of the best-made vehicles available at any price. I'm annoyed when mainstream rags whine and moan about how they're rolling appliances, etc., What's their explanation for the sheer number of hardcore Toyota enthusiasts and people who own more than one?

I'm sure like most gearheads, we all get to a point during a project or job where we're like: "Why the eff am I doing this...," but when you close the door and walk away from your car or truck, do the head turn, and smile to yourself, it all makes sense!!!

BTW, awesome rig yourself and thanks for the writeup on the on the tranny cooler - it definitely came in handy when I installed mine!

Thanks - they vaguely remind me of the FJ80 wheels with their concavity, but with the added dish and stepped lip.

They aren't sold in the US per se, but you could get a vendor to import them for you.

I got them done in my friend's driveway/garage. : Like I mentioned, they're two-tone Wet Okole neoprene seat covers.

ALL offset my friend, no spacers! I was concerned about how much poke there'd be, but I'm so glad I went with these rather than the +/- 0 (Zero) offset.

And before anyone *****es, the running boards are coming off next year when I get sliders and a bumper.

Man, don't do it! Leave the boards and unless you actually offroad, pass on the sliders and steel bumper. That stuff is so damn heavy, it's not worth it just for looks.

BTW, your truck is perfect. I love the Weds/tire combo, the lift and extreme detail of it all. For my uses...I would make my truck exactly like yours. It looks amazing, and doesn't have anything on it that I'd never actually use. :thumb3:
