i know brett barley (pro oneill surfer) is staying with his fam during Florence at Buxton lighthouse...wild. stay safe. bittersweet, as a surfer, we love these swells (i am surfing for 3 hrs tonight then dinner on the beach) in RI. there are going to be chest - double overhead groundswells the next 4 days. careful out there. yeww!

Not sure where in N.C. you're located but if the track holds true southeast N.C. and northeast S.C. is going to get slammed, the worst I think is going to be the rain, upward to 30" to 40" is unheard of, so if you're in the line of fire seek high ground sooner then later!!

I'm going to be at worst on the south end of this storm if the track stays as is, which is the best "side" to be on with a storm like this, so it's not going to be bad down here so I will keep N.C. in my good thoughts!!

We are all set here in Raleigh. I actually ordered a few parts to get some wrench time in since I cant work.

Stay safe and good luck. If staying in surrounding areas watch for flood patterns and hopefully have plenty of supplies. After dealing with Harvey last year our neighborhood was secluded for close to a week due to flood waters.
