OK. A rather cryptic subject line.
The grand experiment of putting the E7009 NAV unit in my wife's 4Runner has come to an end. I have never been able to get the voice nav working even with running a wire to the amp and connecting up the right wires. It didn't help that I got an AVIC-Z2 in my truck that works perfectly.
So I will be replacing the E7009 with another head unit, preferably not back to the original. The thing that my wife would actually miss is the XM that is working with the Terk XMDTLK.
What I am looking for is a Toyota HU that does not have NAV, does CD's (MP3's are nice), and will work with the XMDTLK. I have seen some SCION units talked about. Anyone have any ideas?
PS. When I am ready to sell the E7009, I will let everyone know.
