Husky Floor Liners

I spoke to the folks that make the Husky Floor and Cargo Liners. I highly recommend them to preserve the interior of your 4Runner.

This week they released and are shipping mats for the 2003 4Runner. The part numbers are:

Front 3575x
Rear Seat 6575x
Rear Cargo Mat 2575x

The "x" is for the color: 1 Black, 2 Grey, 3 Tan

I have Husky floor liners in my pickup, and I like them except that they are very slippery when you climb in with wet shoes.

Any experience with their heavy duty floor mats? Are they slippery, too? And has anyone compared them with the ones from Toyota?

The HD floor mats are not as slippery...but they can't contain as much crap as the floor liners!

Which ones are better ? Husky, Mats.com, Toyota, etc...
I am about to buy some all weather mats and cargo liner for my 03 4Runner and i want to make sure I get a good brand.

do they actually make ones that fit the 03 4 RUnner? I don't see it on their webpage. I ordered the toyota ones online for $60 for the set....haven't shipped yet, but i hope they ship soon...and I hope they are the right ones...

Husky just updated the WEB page today. I got my info from Husky yeaterday. From past experience Husky always seems the first out with their mats for new released models and they have always fit like a glove. I like the one piece over the hump rear seat design so my kids muddy soccer cleats aren't mucking everything up. Mess it up...hose it off! They may not be the best looking out there but the are very functional and great at protecting the carpets from everything.

I can say the rear cargo liner saved our truck from 40 pounds of melted ice...I forgot to close the drain plug on the ice chest 10 hours later the ice chest was floating in the back of the Sequoia. Not one of my better moments. With the cargo liner not one drop of water touched the carpet I was due for something to go right.

Cabela's price seems good but we might be able to do better. They want $12 for shipping.

Ya'll keep looking and updating...maybe someone would do a group buy? I take delivery of our 2003 Limited tomorrow and will be ordering a set asap.

I bought the Toyota mats, they look awesome and now I don't have to worry about the fabric mats.

Their are 3 cargo mats in the back, Toyota gives an extra one and if you flip it over it has a rubber side, good enough for me not gonna hold water but keep the other mats from getting dirty

I'm about to order, too, and still thinking mats from WeatherTech (mats.com), Husky, or Toyota, plus a cargo floor liner.

Hey Ya'll,

I spoke to Husky again today. They are telling me that the rear cargo mat 2575_ will not work with the Double Decker Cargo System. This is a standard feature in the Limiteds. Husky said that in three weeks thay should have a different model for the DDCS. I will post when I get more info.

So far the least expensive site I have found is Premier Motoring, 10% off and Free Shipping too.

Thanks, Roy - never thought that the DDCS would be different. The SR5 I ordered has it, too, so you stopped me from making a mistake in the order.

Your right, when the new models come out we are on the bleeding edge for the after market stuff. Check and then recheck. Husky has been great. They are to call me when it's released. I've had great luck with Husky. The engineer I spoke with today said that the 2575 would work but the new one coming out would be perfect. He strongly hinted that I should wait. Worse case was three weeks...I'll wait. Next we are looking for a wood dash kit, any suggestions?

The site has pictures so you can see what it is like.

The wood kit is synthetic, stick-on to existing trim. The 2003 4Runner kit is $179 plus shipping.

Since my 4Runner hasn't arrived, I haven't ordered a kit and can't give an opinion of the company or the kit. The one thing I can say is that I e-mailed a question last night and had a response in under an hour. That's usually a good sign.

If any of you have an aftermarket trim pic, I'd love to see it. I personally think the '03 runer would look sweet with a QUALITY wood trim...Not the cheap looking stuf like on the GMC Envoy (wow, that stuff looked bad).

They also sent me some additional pictures of a Camry kit. I think it's the same car as on the page above, just different angles.

I think it looks pretty nice, although in looking at our Camry again this evening, I really like the black used for much of the trim on it. If this is a high quality kit (Burtman says it is, of course, but I've not had that corroborated by anyone else), then I think it would look great in the 4Runner in place of the black and silver (apologies to any Oakland Raider fans ).

How soon till you get the Runner, till you get the kit, till you install said kit, till you take some pics of a '03 with a wood interior and let everyone see your handiwork.

The 4Runner should be here in 2-3 weeks.

Getting the wood kit and installing it, well, let's just say that it will take some time to convince the finance minister (a.k.a wife) that it's a priority. The list of "wants" for the 4Runner is longer than the checkbook can cover.

Back on-topic (the mats), I was at the WeatherTech site today and they have cargo liners for DDCS -- one liner for the floor, another for the shelf.

Yes, I have them for my current ride (Acura). And they are great! I definetily could have gotten some cheaper all weather mats from Pep Boys, but I do feel that the Weathertechs are worth the money for the protection they provide. They are quite thick and do not move around the floor at all. Plus, very easy to clean.
