Husky Liners, Plastic or Rubber?

Hey guys, Im looking at floor liners and have read previous posts and reviews and have pretty much settled on the husky liners. One question that I didn't seem to find the answer to is are the liners made of a more plastic or rubber material? I ask because I noticed the weathertec liners are more "plasticy" and I think would make my feet slip while driving. I would imagine that rubber would not make my feet slip as much. Also, anyone know of a cheaper place than ebay link to pick these up?

They are more like a firm plastic material. They have spiral points at the bottom that keep them in place so they don't move around on you. I went to auto anything to get them. Shipping is free.

It's a flexible plastic material, more stiff than rubber mats. It will hold it's shape when you hold them out horizontally in front of you. Like 007, I got mine from autoanything.com as well. Arrived within a few days.

Definitely "plasticy". I was somewhat disappointed by this... mainly because anything on the rear cargo liner slides around. I was hoping the weathertechs were more rubbery so I could try those. From your report it doesn't sound like that is the case. Without a doubt though... the husky liners fit like a glove and are near indestructable.

If you search, you'll see that this topic has been debated several times.

My experience - when I had Husky Liners in my F150, they were very slippery any time my shoes were wet. Called Husky and they were rather insulting and of no help. Personally, I was very disappointed in them and lack of service.

I now have a WeatherTech cargo liner
in the 4Runner. It's less slippery than the Husky Liners were, but stuff can still slide around. I use an anti-slip mat for a rug on top of the liner and it has been working well.

WeatherTech didn't offer their floor liners when I bought the mats in the 4Runner. You might consider them.

I had them in my Tacoma and hated them. They didn't hold their shape, didn't stay in place, were extremely slippery, and also scuffed up easily. I'll take the $15 rubber mats they sell at walmart or Target before I will ever buy Husky. They're overpriced and don't perform as advertised.
