HUSKY Mud Guard is perfect

I just installed HUSKY mud guard. It perfect matches the shape of my 2010 Limited. And there is NO NEED TO DRILL. 3 screws for each. I feel they are secure enough for a mud guard. Take about extra 10 minutes to figure out how to install the rear one with the packed U-Clips. I am just thinking, how smart HUSKY they are to use such kind of u-clips.

Also, there is no need to take the wheel out. Just use some kind of L shape screw driver.

There may have some kind of 'High-End' liner you need to screw-in

I post this just want to answer some questions people asked before due to Husky's confused online description. And also saw some people get into a really difficult installation process when they're using OEM mud guard. This HUSKY is easy.

1- Did you use that plastic strip to protect the paint
2- What purpose do those clips serve

I didn't use the plastic paint protector strips. I'm not sure what good they would do because mine don't really touch the paint.

Installation is a breeze. No need to remove the tires. The clips snap over some of the internal plastic pieces that already have holes to allow you to use a screw instead of just plastic snap-in fasteners. It's fairly obvious when you look at it.

Ok, so I am not an idiot and have not even attempted to put them on, just wondering if those clips go behind the plastic (on the truck where the pin things are) or does the plastic go between the clip?

I also have a Limited 2010 4runner with running boards and the sales rep. will not sell them to me because of the running boards and the wheel flares. I have been trying to purchase them since I bought the SUV but no luck. Finally, someone has some information regarding the mud flaps on the new 2010 4runners. Thanks.

Why don't you order the parts online? I have a 2011 Limited WITH running boards and installed the factory mud guards with no issue. I ordered the mud flaps from Sparks Toyota.
