HVAC panel Light?

Hey everyone, i was just wondering, on my 95 SR5 V6, is the HVAC panel supposed to be lit up? I swear it always had a light behind it, and now it doesn't, and i didn't know if i've been thinking wrong this whold time, or if it really does have a light behind it. Thanks!

i have a 94 and the bulbs were burnt out ... i removed the cup holder and was able to pop the face plate off ... replaced the bulbs.. i did not put the little green gel cap back on it made it brighter... also found an after market hvac plate and gauge overlays that light up 2 colors blue and green with white face.they were not easy to install ... but look real good

I actually found the answer somewhere else on the forums, and got it replaced, and i know what you mean about the green light, but its not a big deal that it doesn't match the rest of the interior lol.
