I bought front coils that are way too stiff. What are my options?

A year ago I installed OME 883 coils in the front and 891 in the rear, which is basically this stiffest, most heavy duty option from OME for the 3rd gen. (Also installed Bilstein 5100 front and back)

At the time, my intention was to make this a dedicated off-roader as I had a service vehicle for work. My plans were to get a heavy front bumper with a winch so that the weight would make the front springs work as intended.

Things changed, I no longer live in the Arizona desert (so no access to trails) and I now use the 4Runner as a service vehicle, carrying 250+ pounds of tools in the rear with occasional towing. My rear coils work great, but I don't have the necessary load on the front, and the ride is CHATTERING. :yuck:

I'm about to lose my mind, I need to swap these coils ASAP, and ultimately I will probably go with OME 880 (still want to add an ARB bumper eventually).

Until I get my hands on some 880 springs, what is the cheapest 2" lift option that will get me by?

Edit: I'm only running 265/75/16 Wildpeaks, so a smaller front lift wont be an issue

Find someone selling used oem springs. Bilstein shocks should have enough adjustability to get you 2 inches of lift with those.

You can get cheap old take offs from tundra coils on Craigslist or salvage yard. It would net you a 1.5 to two inch lift.

Make sure that you get the color code (paint dots on the coils), Tundra TRD Coils. Left, 48131-AF100 (Yellow/Yellow). Right, 48131-AF090 (Blue/Yellow)
The TRD coils fit:
4wd, access cab, w/off road pkg. 2000 - 2002
2wd Access cab 2003 - 2004
4wd Access cab Left 2003 - 2004

4th gen, 5th gen and FJ Cruiser front springs will also work (bit stiffer than 3rd gen stuff) and should be able to be adjusted to the right height you want with the 5100's - they should net around 1" of lift on stock front shocks, just put them up one or two notches on the 5100's.

I currently have FJ Cruiser coils on the front set on second perch. I gained 2" +/- half an inch. The ride is comfortable to me. Definitely more firm than stock but not jarring.

I love my set up and I think it would hold up even with a heavier bumper.

The only reason I would swap front coils is because I'd like to have coils that sit at this height on the lowest perch to avoid any preload, and rely solely on the coil for lift.

FJ coils and 5th gen coils are on Craigslist for cheap pretty often. Especially the 5th gen coils, which are similar in height I believe.
