Your killing me smalls, how about some pics a link to where you bought them and a brief description of how the install went? Lol, i'm interested in this but not enough information, either that or add to an existing thread. Besides that, cool man! Let us.know how it works out and get a night pic or three lol

I looked into doing the same thing awhile back, but 80/100 is on the edge of the factory wiring's safe ability. It will probably work, but I'd keep an eye on it (that's upwards of 8A). I'm curious if you'll get oncoming traffic flashing at you.
I went with the Silverstar Ultra instead, and I still get some people flashing at me. They are a LOT whiter in color than most halogen lamps when viewed from the other side of the road.

LOL, sorry. I get a little excited and want to just post whats going on. I will get some night shots this weekend and do a build thread for the relays when I install those. I bought them through one of my distributors I do business with. Im not sure how group buy posts work, but I could definitly get great deals on parts, replacement bulbs and car audio. I wonder what the intrest level would be if any.

HID lights only consume more power than a halogen during warm up. After they are up to temperature they draw less power that your factory halogen lights. A relay is a good idea for the HID ballasts so you know they are getting the constant power they need because headlights do get power fluctuations and its not good for the HID ballasts but I wouldn't worry about your factory wiring unless its a nightmare. In that case I wouldn't drive it anyway.
