I can't smog the truck. VSC and CEL constantly on. HELP PLEASE

California registration due and of course the VSC and CEL lights come on.

2003 V6 with 213,xxx miles.

I've cleaned the O2 sensors, MAF, disconnected the battery, and cleaned the throttle body and that did nothing.

Ended up replacing all FOUR catalytic converters and replacing the two DOWNSTREAM O2 sensors and the Driver side Bank 1 Sensor 1 A/F sensor.

NOTE: I haven't replaced the Passenger side Bank 2 sensor yet.

I'm still getting the following errors on the OBDII scanner:

P2238 (O2 sensor positive current control circuit low bank1 sensor 1)
P0171 (Powertrain system too lean (Bank 1)
P2195 (Powertrain O2 sensor signal stuck lean bank1 sensor 1).

I'm at wits end with this truck. Spent close to $1500 for everything and it's still not fixed. It runs fine otherwise but now I can't smog or register the thing.

Bank 1 Sensor 1 is on the Passenger's Side of the engine block.

Bank 2 is on the Driver's Side, have you replaced that sensor and verified that the circuit is functioning as designed?

I think the state suppose to give you some money to help fix the smog issue.

Bank 2 is on the Driver's Side, have you replaced that sensor and verified that the circuit is functioning as designed?

Holy crap, I got the two mixed up. I've only cleaned the passenger sensor but not replaced it.

Other than than using my OBDII scanner, which did verify the circuit, I haven't done any other sort of testing.

You can't really clean an Oxygen Sensor or an AFR for that matter... at least not in any way I'm aware of. That might be the issue right there.

Just replace all the o2 sensors and you should be good. I think rockauto has them fro pretty cheap. They will need to be replaced at some point anyways.
