I finally got my 4Runner!!

Finally, I got my 4runner!!!
Limited Shoreline Blue Pearl 4X4 w/Beige interior, 3rd row, and Navigation
Accessories--Cargo cross bar, floor mats, exhaust tip, cargo cover, and wheel locks.

I bought it in Boston and drove it back to New Orleans. I love it. The whole 1600 mile trip I averaged 20.5 MPG. The first half, 950 miles-Boston to Gatlinburg, I got 21.6 mpg at about 68MPH. The second half, 650 miles-Gatlinburg to New Orleans, I got worse;It was probably around 19 mpg at 76MPH. The bigger hills and higher speed killed the mileage. I left LA Friday morning and got back last night.

well, since I wanted a shoreline blue 4x4 w/3rd row and beige interior--optional on nav, I had very limited choices...I had a deal for 38800 but after a few weeks of getting nowhere I just pulled the trigger on one for 39610 that was on the lot--a little far away! All of them were away from me. The better deals were up north. There were 6 available in the entire US at the time. Ordering is so uncertain of a timeframe...Because I was wanting to get one before the 11s came out, I just said to hell with it and got it...I am so happy I did. I love this thing. :reddance::lookout:I can't wait to take it off road...the beach will probably be the first place I will go with it.

Looking forward to hearing what you think. I really love taking mine off-road, except for the first time I put it in L4L - there were lots of unusual noises (at least for mine), shifting into L4L. But a complete blast.

I guessing that is about $500 over invoice? A deal you are driving away in is a lot better than a deal with the hope of a vehicle arriving. Congrats again.
