I want a 2.5"/1.5" lift and was therefore close to going with the Daystar lift but I gave Jason Burtman a call to see if he would be able to manufacture a lift that matches these measurements rather than the 2/1 or 3/2 shown on his site. After a few moments he was able to confirm that it would be possible and the components should be here in a few weeks.
I am more comfortable with the materials used in the Cornfed Lift kit than those in the Daystar kit based on overall user reports here in this forum and in other related forums such as toyota120. It was also quite nice being able to easily get in touch with Jason and find out quickly about ordering a custom size. The only catch is that it costs a bit more than the sizes offered on the Burtman site but that is reasonable and can be expected with a custom order...
I also ordered some Spidertrax wheel spacers directly from Spidertrax and they arrived within 3 days of my order. Although based on prices listed on the Burtman site it looks like I would have saved a few dollars if I ordered them from there...
I am hoping to install Budbuilt armor at some point next year and will then move to upgrading tires and maybe some black headlights to replace the stock ones...
