I have been bouncing back and forth for about a month now on if I should or shouldn't buy this 4runner. But I did, now I am in the 2nd gen group. Its a 1994, 3.0 V6, 5speed with 193,XXX miles on her. But she is in amazing condition for her year and milage. Everything is electric, and everything works. The head gaskets and steering recall have been done. I didnt know a thing about 4runners till I joined this site, and its the info that I got from here that helped me with the decision. Let me know what you think. I bought it for 2250 dollars

Well as you can see I have added a few things to the interior. The only thing that I know for sure that I am going to do to it is a stereo system, cb radio, and wireless entry. There are some things that I am going to do mechanically like the valve cover gaskets, cam plugs, timing belt, clutch/bearings, flush all the fluids, basically and all around tune up and doing everything to make sure its a solid daily driver. I am a toyota technician, so I get toyota genuine parts at dealership costs, and I install them myself. Cheap way to go for a proper fix. Here is a list of the mods/ accesories I am going to put on it:
Heavy duty front bumper with grill guard
10,000 pound warn winch with tree protector, drings, snatch block
Off road and fog lights mounted to bumper
Fire extinguisher (you never know)
4 inch suspension lift
33x12.5x15 inch Pro Comp tires
Rock crawler series wheels
I am hoping to be done with the project by June of next year, and I will be posting pics of the build. Although somethings will be installed for me(I know my capabilites and dont go beyond them).

check out all the build threads the coolest place ive seen to put your cb is in the ashtray slot. and if you do a 4'' lift best way is 3" suspension lift and 1" body lift. if you do that then youll be good on the 35's i believe. could be wrong though
