First off I am not a fan of cherry creek mall and surrounding area in the first place.
I almost started writing a novel, but I will try keep this short and to the point. I'm @ the mall (just arrived) lookn for a parking spot, I pulled into the handicap only lot and figured they may notice a black lifted 4runner on 33's so I go to cross the street to the other lot and out of nowhere, BOOM, I T-Bone a Volvo.

Man, did I feel like an A$$.

Here are the pics.

She's my baby, I have put so much into her.

recent mods include:
OME f/r, 285/75 bfg at's, motometals, roof rack, 99 f/r seats, center console, clear turns n corners, blacked out bumpers n grill, 99 headlights, stereo w/ipod HD, huskyliners, this list keeps going on mods but you get the point.

:crybaby:

yours looks like its a little worse, but take it as a blessing man. i got 02 front end now with an ARB. Do like me and take it as more of an excuse to make it better, im actually kinda glad it happend now a days. i only spent about a grand on re doing the front end but luckly i didnt NEED to do any body work, its not perfect but i did everything myself which saved a lot of money.
here are some motivational pics, keep us updated.

Time for an off road bumper!

The down side to that is that if you hit someone (your fault), you will inflict more pain on the other person than your rig, and most likely THEY will want everything fixed perfectly whereas you can absorb (pun intended) more damage if you do the fixing of your own stuff. Just another perspective...

High insurance rates are to be avoided if possible....

Persoally, I would rather not take more damage on mine to save theirs. If they want to add protection to their own vehicles, they can. If they want to drive a small car that doesn't take damage too well, that's their choice too.

Insurance rates will go up whether the claim is for you car, his/her car, or both cars. The amount of the claim doesn't exactly determine the rates at the next renewal, but just the presence of a claim at all will automatically raise your rates by about 30% with most ins. companies.

on the brightside, if I see you driving around I wont get you confused with anyone else from the boards! :biggrin2:

and x6 or 7?? on the time for a bumper upgrade! :0)

update

Insurance is going to cover it $250 out of pocket, the wife won't let me argue with them for the cash so I can buy a bumper so that is out (for now).

Had to act quick and get it in a shop so the insurance would cover a rental so we could actually take our Moab trip (without the runner), one of our friends rented a Heep out there so we could get our wheeln fix and it was amazing other than the fact that I kept thinking "my runner would walk over this"

anyhoo, they are putting 99+ headlights and all black bumper and grill like I had so it will be like it didn't happen, other than our Moab pics have a Heep in them :cry2:

I agree with the protection, but I think that guy would still be in the hospital if I had an ARB, that is if he lived. I wasn't even going 10 but he was doing at least 30. I think the lift really limited damages to both.

I'll update with pics when she's done getn all pretty.
