So I haven't been on the forum for awhile. Busy with unfortunate life events. DIVORCE! Well, anyway, She took the 4Runner and left me with the 1995 Honda Accord. Nice huh? It took me almost 6 months to find a replacement but I finally did. It is a 1997 Lexus LX450. A landcruiser for those new to the Toyota scene. It is completely stock and it does have the magic switch. The one that locks the FRONT and REAR LOCKERS! I had to fly to Virginia and drive it back to Maine so I could have one that is completely rust free. I have been taking the past couple weeks to get all the bugs worked out. Hopefully the mods will come sooner than later.
Hello again, can I still play in the sandbox with you guys?

Here you go
As much as I loved the Runner, 3 rows of leather with F&R lockers is quite nice too.

There must have been one hell of a negotiation for her to end up with the runner....but all those lockers oughta make up some of the difference, huh? You now own my dream truck by the way....take good care of her!

Looks like a beautiful truck!! And you got one of those "holy grails" among off-roaders...LX450 with lockers! Congrats!!

Did you keep the helicopter?

John, so, is the LX450 crappy because it has lockers to compromise for its "apparent" shortcomings? :bravo:

Thanks guys. The only major issue is now I do not have the mod :police: keeping me from going broke on mods. Oh, wait a minute, is that bad or good? :biggrin2:

Isn't that your ex-wife's job? :hatsoff: How many miles on your LX?

She was the mod police. Keyword - WAS.

It has 168k. Headgasket done at 117k and there is no soup coming from the birfs. So most of the stuff it needs is just fluid changes and fixing small leaks from being 13 years old. I will have to remove and clean the rear locker actuator as it doesn't always engage as quick as I would like. Pretty minor in my book. Plus it was priced accordingly. I didn't steal it but I would have paid $2500 more for no leaks and less mileage so I have some room to get her cleaned up and dry. Plus, having the HG done was a biggie for me. One less expensive thing to worry about. Like I said, just taking some time to work the bugs out and find any potential issues.

looks pretty nice.....but i'd probably toss on a little bit more aggressive shoes to give it a little bit different look....maybe not so "urban streetish" i guess you could call it.

Nice find tho!!!
