I had an accident this morning, it was very slippery. The damage is not that bad but the body shop estimated it for $3900.00

Damn, that sucks. The good news is paint ain't what it used to be. Unlike the bad old days the matching tends to go very well for everyone except the folks with some shades of silver. It'll be fine.

The other good news is it's cosmetic (or at least it looks that way); no frame pulling or anything big.

Of course the best news is nobody was hurt :bigok:

Sorry to hear about your accident, glad nobody was hurt. The roads around Chicago-land have been very bad recently. Lots of ice and and lot less salt on the roads this year.

There is someone on T120 that is selling a hood for $150 and toss the front bumper and get a Shrockworks or ARB. Problem solved for half the price....

Appears the grille caused most of the damage to the hood.

I really love my new 4Runner but as far as protection gos, my old 82 Ford Bronco with real steel bumpers front and rear has my plastic and foam bumpers on the 4Runner beat to death.
