I Hate to Do This...Tire Size ?

It's finally time to retire the stock Michelins that came on my 08 V8. I have installed the Daystar 1" leveling kit (gave me about 1 7/8" lift) and 1.25" spidertraxx all the way around. I know that the 265/65-18 will fit this set up. I was thinking about going to a 275/65-18. I have seen multiple post where a few folks have said that they fit with very minor adjustments, ie. moving the fender liner. Other folks have said that they had to cut the bumper, trim/remove mudflaps, rubbed the uca and so on. Also, I have rear air, so putting a full lift on isn't much of an option as I'm not pulling the air out. I can gain a little, but I'm not really worried about things not fitting there.

I have dug through page after page trying to get a straight answer and can't come to a decent conclusion. I, like most of us, am trying to make mine look just a little different. Any input or pics would be appreciated.

Go with 265's. Trust me on this one. 275's require tons of trimming, especially if you chose an aggresive tire with squared shoulder blocks (ie: bfg at). And that's with a daystar 2.5/1.5 spacer front and rear. Still rubs.

The Tire Stores will work with you, try with the biggest size you want and go down from there. They will mount to a wheel and you can see test it in the shop turning the wheel back and forth. That's what I did and ended up with 285's. Had to trim a little but it looks pro.
