I hate washboards!

I also think that a touch of rake is perfect. I just need to decide whether or not I want to raise the rear at all or just bring the front up a bit. I do know about the thickness to lift ratio and I might have to machine down a spacer to get exactly what I want, but it's hard to plan when I don't know the exact amount of lift my FJ springs will yield.

I picked up the FJ springs and shocks... they look brand new! The shocks are the all-black Tokicos and I'll probably try to sell them off cheap.

Check the link in my sig, last one listed. On page two of that thread I've posted a chart showing the lift amounts (averaged numbers from the members who responded to the thread thus far) based on various factors (v8 or v6, 2wd or 4wd, etc). That should be a very good starting point for you to figure out what you'll end up getting.

Yeah... I've checked that thread out a few times. THANKS for putting that together! It was the main reason that I decided to give this FJ suspension set-up try!

I should probably assume that I'll net out somewhwere on the high side of the average lift... nearly brand new FJ springs replacing stock 4Runner springs with 71k miles.

I just need to figure out if I want to raise the rear at all... I plan to add some wheel spacers and I want to make sure that I give myself enough room.

Thanks again,
~Doozi
