I have returned

Well I have been gone for a while now, and quite a few things have happened since my last post, thought I'd fill everyone in, if anyone even knew I left haha...

1. I broke up my my gf...(read I am a free man!!!)

2. I transferred schools (no more Purdue)

3. I moved

That basically explains my hiatus. Here's a couple pics since I recently spent about twenty hours over 2 days detailing the whip. You name it, I did it. Washed, waxed, touched up, shampooed carpets and mats, cleaned every nook and cranny with a detailing brush, painted any under-body rust, cleaned the engine bay, treated the leather...and the list goes on. Enjoy, and I should have more time now to visit, because I <3 this place.

Of course its a cell phone pic, and it's being mad gay, so one will have to suffice for now.:bash:

so where you going to school now or are you done?

looks super clean! nice job on the cleaning

Haha thanks for the compliment. It's a brand new house, and its pretty cool, but it has one less garage space then my old house so it looks like the 4Runner will be sleeping outside from now on. Oh well, good thing I got it all nice and clean.

Right now my plan is to go to community college here in northern Virginia for a semester, then transfer to George Mason or James Madison University in the spring. My parents weren't, and still aren't too happy with my situation, since I will be living with them until the end of 2008 at the least...but they are being helpful and supportive. I do feel bad for messing up though. I certainly have learned my lesson.

I did something semi-gay with my exhaust. Since it was just a tip on the end (that i bludgeoned to death onto the exhaust with a rubber mallet), it was one of zero quality, so its pearl grey-ish hue only lasted a couple months, then rusted. So I took a combination of silver and black spray paint and came up with my best rendition of the same color before the rust, then sprayed clear coat to make it shine a little. It was just a cosmetic fix until I get my completely new exhaust.
