I have Torque Pro, anyone else with experience with this app?

I have a 99 4Runner, SR5 3.4L V6 330k miles, it's my daily driver, I love it. I just recently got the torque pro app and it's a very powerful tool, far beyond my knowledge with a lot of the things it can do and what it can watch. If anyone else has this app, what do you monitor and what is important to watch with my truck? I would also like to know what or where I could find the operating parameters for the various sensors and min/max ranges for them. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

I have it. I agree its a cool app. Mostly I just use it for diagnostics. The only thing I have really monitored was my tranny temps after i put on the external cooler.

I have been wanting to use it o calculate my mileage but haven't gotten around to setting all that up yet.

It's also great for when a friend pops a CEL I can grab my Bluetooth OBD2 thingy and help them out with my phone.
 
Under real-time information I created a widget for it. I can give you more details and instructions when I get home from work if you need.
 
I used the built in Transmission Temperature to show trans temp on my 1999 SR5. It looks pretty accurate to me
I think there were three or four options for the temp sendor.
 
3rd gen, 99 T4R SR5, AND thanks for the links =)) is there a way for me to watch vacuum pressure?

I have the same app and i love it. My 98 does not have tanny temp but my 2001 does. So im assuming toyota put them in starting 99. The vacuum gauge should be around 20 at idle if you dont have a vacuum leak. What is your ltft at idle? Mine shows +7.
 
Whenever I click on my vacuum gauge it just gives me the turbo boost, no vacuum gauge, which is weird because it was a default dial on the torque free app. What is ltft? I'm interested.

Sorry for the delayed response. You have to figure out what gauge works with your rig and what doesn't. I removed any default gauge that didn't work and then added some that I wanted. You start by finding a blank screen and then touch and hold till you get a pop up that says "add display," then choose your type of display, then pick a functioning sensor. TIP: Anything in green is a functioning sensor. Scroll down and find Turbo Boost & Vacuum Gauge.

LTFT stands for Long Term Fuel Trim. This function is important because you can use it to diagnose many things with your engine. I'm not an expert by any means but based on what I've read online a properly working motor should be between 0 to 10. I think anything above a 12 will set off a code. Mine is currently running at +7. I check it in park and at idle. If anyone can chime in on this please do so cause there is a lot more to it than I am explaining.
