I just bought a 2005 4Runner!!!

Hi everyone!!! I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. First let me say that growing up in the house I did, the option of buying a foreign vehicle was taboo. But I recently had the opportunity to buy a new vehicle. I did my homework for two months... and all my research pointed to Toyota. I found this message board about a month ago, and wanted to thank you all for your posts, they helped me immensely with my pre-buy research. I am on my seventh day with my new 4Runner and I LOVE IT!!! I went to the Grand Canyon two days ago and off-roading yesterday... I can't believe how nice this SUV is. Anyway I put a photo of it for you to see. Thanks again, and I look forward to learning more and more about Toyota and my new 4Runner.

I took alot of pictures last weekend, but I'm not sure if I took one of the truck next to the Grand Canyon. I will post them up as soon I get the film back. Thanks for all the kind welcomes, I am proud to be a 4Runner owner.

My 4Runner is almost complete... I had the windows tinted. The exhaust tip, wheel locks and hood protector were installed yesterday. My dealer is going to install the alarm today. It looks sharp.

Does anyone know where I can get some window visors? My dealer says they don't carry them. I have no clue where to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can give you part # for "Canadian Visors": C0500-35023. Try to ask some dealers.

Looks like mine.
At first i did not like the color(silver). Mine was used with 100 miles on it. So i did not have much of a choice. But now i would not have any other color.

Very nice looking 4Runner. Congrats.

I especially like the Titanium color. . . but I'm biased having owned a Titanium V6 Limited, and having just purchased Tuesday a Titanium V8 Limited. I always liked the Titanium color roof rack and its nice they kept it on the Sport Edition. Wish they had left it on the Titanium Limited. I also miss my Titanium trimed running boards but the V8 more than makes up for the color difference on the roof rack and running boards.
