Do i buy the Toytec setup

OR Do I go the OME way (885/895), the only place I see where I can get the OME's and 5100's ordered together is Wheelers and I worry shipping will kill the deal.
DSM has the best price on the 5100's but i would have to order coils separate, the toytec setup would come ready to install, any thoughts opinions on either or where else i could order the 5100/ome setup? Thanks!

Nobody has the Toytec kit i linked? I can buy the Wheelers stuff a little cheaper but not sure what shipping is until i place the order.

If your running stock bumpers and no added weight, the OME rear coils are way too stiff. I'd go with the Toytec kit personally. You can order direct from Toytec, they offer a 5% discount for forum members and I believe they're running 10% off through Monday. Also, I'd skip the diff drop, it really isn't needed.

I'd call and talk to wheelers and see if they could work with you on shipping. They were more than helpful on some stuff I just ordered for my 5th gen. Honestly, the guys at Toytec were very helpful too but wheelers made me a deal I couldn't refuse.

The kit were talking about already gives 3" lift, which is the highest you should go. Ditch the spacers, no need for them with that kit.

Coils shouldn't affect flex, that's mostly determined by shock selection and bump stops. Either coil should work well on the front, I'd just avoid the OME coils for the rear.

You will want heavier coils than stock when you add the front bumper, so I'd plan on getting those now. You can use stock coils with a spacer on the rear, I see no issues with that.

if you're using 5100s, id stay away from a spacer lift, theres no point when the 5100s are adjustable and you can also add lift coils

the flex, as ARK noted, won't really depend on the coils. i have 5100s at 2.5 with fj coils and my flex is limited by my sway bar, not the coils

I will give wheelers a call tomorrow and see what they can do as far as the 5100's and front coils. May get some fj's or superflex coils for the rear. Thanks for the info!!

I went ahead and ordered the Bil's, DSM had them for $313...shipped!! May try and find some fj coils and might just hold off on the front bumper for a while.

I was going to say that I have that toytec set up on my 05 4runner. It was supposed to give me a front lift of 3 inches, but it was way more. It shipped with the spring perch set at 0.85 inches of lift, and the side profile showed that the front was sitting higher than the front, by a little bit say 0.25 inch.

I put on an ARB bumper thinking that the front would sag and be more level, and it was but not by much, it still seemed higher than the back. I contacted toytec and they told me to adjust the bilsteins down a notch to the 0 setting. I recently did that and now with the front bumper on I have about 0.75 inch of rake which is perfect for me.
