Ran here. I'm coming up on 20,000 on my '07 SE V6 4x4. I run coastly to the mountains. emergency runs over 4200 '. living 1500'. I guess it is 'aggresive higheway' I am looking for. Price was taken out GYSA, and Revos. (I know, H/T and A/T). Looks like Firestone Destination A/T is my best bet. anything else? (Hancook fans, not sold on the west coast?) Living out of state, unemployed for 4 years. life is like that. thanks all

and since I learned about 255/75/17 it is a toss up between that and 265/70/17. One older relative, 2" may make a difference in getting in and out of my truck. thanks again.

I have punched in Revo vs Destination and read tons of forums of different 4x4 rides. It is co$t right now that is important. Managed 23 MPG going down 680 past the Bay Area to the Monterey Bay. Unless there is a cheaper practical choice, it will be Destination 265/70 sometime soon. salamat

My close friend told me that Generals are a low rolling resistant tire...therefore you'll get better MPG, but traction may not be as great.
