I knows nadda about this 93 runner! Tranny Question!!

Hi to everyone. First let me say thanks for having such a great site.
I'm a true blue Chevy girl, please don't hate me..lol.. I just got this 4runner for a song..Ahh, My first toy....To take hunting and to pull my boat to my favorite salmon spots..The Tranny is going, it moves but slips, hence it was so cheap, Its an automatic, 3.0L 1993 year, I want to know a model number for the tranny before I hit the wrecking yards next week.
I know the 400-59791A part, but I know that not quite the number I'm supposed to say out loud..lol
Again thanks for the awesome site, you'll hear from me often I'm sure as I'm a knowledge hound and I have already learned alot reading these posts!eace:

I believe that's an A340-H, see Toyota Pickup and 4Runner Drivetrain Specifications .

The auto tranny robs a lot of the engines power. Switching to a manual will help you pull that boat better, should get better MPGs too, and now is the perfect time to do it.

Auto for V6 is A340H for 4WD, A340E for 2WD.

Check the VIN plate, it's called out there.
